Ye Gamol Chattels is more commonly called the Middle Age mod, as it adds a whole lot of content based on the middle ages.
Created by Ivorius, this mod adds a myriad of decorative and functional objects that enhances gameplay and promotes immersion.
Each objects added are well thought off and well designed. You can see that the mod author placed a lot of time in creating this wonderful mod.
In this mod you will find Tiki torches, treasure piles, weapon racks, three types of gongs, five types of pedestals, a loot chest, two types of shelves, a wardrobe, small and large banners, and small and large flags of various colors.
But that’s not all, this mod also features a workshop mechanics emphasizing the era of blacksmith of tinkerers. Thus, it adds a functional grindstone that repairs items, and a table press and a saw bench to create high quality wood.
Small workshop items such as sandpapers, chisels and hammers will also exist and they are all functional. Point and carving chisels will allow you to sculpt stone and wood -based blocks in order to create your own design and statue – like a true artisan!
A long with that, flax will also spawn around the world to be farmed, collected, and crafted into flax fiber.
Unlike Minecraft 1.8, this mod’s banners cannot be decorated and modified, but it does feature a more sleek look than that of 1.8.
Items like drawers, pedestals, and loot chests all functions as they should (items can be placed inside them), and some even features cool effects.
With this mod installed, you can create a whole new level of immersion in game. From the nicer wardrobes to in depth workshop. However, this mod lacks one crucial thing… having an in-game guide. Fortunately you have the Ye Gamol Chattels wiki to look up whenever you encounter a head scratcher.
