Obviously, tools play an important role in Minecraft. In spite of that fact, vanilla Minecraft only has a few basic tools and tool sets available to players. That’s a problem that the Ultimate Tools Mod wants to solve.
The Ultimate Tools Mod adds a few new craftable tools for Minecraft, including:
As you can see, most of those names are completely made up. Each tool is a combination of a shovel, pickaxe, and axe. I’ll let you figure out which combination is which based on the names.
After crafting each tool, you can use it for both of the tool’s functions. The Shaxe has the exact same capabilities as a shovel and axe, for example. As you might expect, the Shaxe is made by placing a shovel and an axe inside the crafting window, while the Povel is made by placing a pickaxe and a shovel inside the crafting window.
Meanwhile, the Ultimate is a combination of all three tools, which certainly makes it live up to its name as an ultimate tool. Each tool is available in all of the different materials you normally use, including everything from wooden to diamond blocks.
The combination tools have a higher durability than their normal counterparts. For example, a diamond Shaxe will have more uses than a diamond shovel or a diamond axe.
A recent update to the Ultimate Tools Mod also added a weapon called the Sow, which is a combination of the sword and bow. There are also individual achievements available for this mod and the mod’s creator, Umbrosus, has continued updating this mod on a regular basis for well over a year.
If you don’t like to switch between tools when mining for ore or resources, then the Ultimate Tools Mod is the mod for you. Weapons like the Sow make this mod even more entertaining and you can download the Ultimate Tools Mod today by following the instructions below.
