Can you ever really have too much TNT? The TooMuchTNT mod for Minecraft aims to answer that question. With the TooMuchTNT mod, players can use 35 (that’s right – 35!) new types of explosives.
These new explosives range in size, variety, and explosive power. Here’s a sample selection of how many different types of explosives there are:
–TNTx5, TNTx20, TNTx100, TNTx500
–Meteor TNT (spawns a meteor in the sky which explodes and makes an impact crater upon landing)
–FlatBomb (flattens out the land in your chosen area)
–MiningFlatBomb (smaller explosion in the Y axis but larger explosion in the X and Z access, which makes it a perfect bomb for clearing underground mining areas, creating underground caves, or building a massive cave mansion)
–CompactTNT (splatters regular TNT everywhere after an explosion)
–HouseTNT (unlike other explosions, the HouseTNT devices actually creates something – a house – after exploding)
–WoodHouseTNT (Spawns a wood planked house)
There are all sorts of unique TNT devices in this mod. The TNT devices listed above mostly just destroy the area around the explosion or create houses. But the mod’s creator wasn’t satisfied with just creating basic explosions, which is why he also added the following items into the game:
–OceanTNT (creates a level amount of water in the location where the TNT is placed)
–HellFireTNT (similar to the OceanTNT device but leaves nether rack, fire, and lava behind)
–VaporizeTNT (removes all water and lava)
–EnderBomb (Doesn’t destroy any blocks but it sends players flying a long distance)
–NuclearTNT (Splatters nuclear waste everywhere, which kills all leaves and plants and melts ice and snow)
–DrillingTNT (Drills a large hole down to the bedrock layer of the ground and conveniently places water at the bottom of the hole)
–GhostTNT (Falls through blocks and explodes underground, which is great for creating underground caves and hollowing out mountain fortresses).
–ChemicalTNT (Explodes when in touches anything and will continue to explode over a set period of time)
I wish I could list every type of TNT included in this mod because there are so many cool explosions and explosive effects. Some explosions are used to clear out a large area of the surface, while other explosions can be used to fill your landscape with snow, water, nuclear waste, or even houses.
There’s throwable dynamite, nuclear devices, and TNT with an astonishing amount of explosive power. You can completely transform the landscape or gently change it to meet your needs.
Whether you’re looking for a way to rain hellfire meteor TNT over your landscape or you’re looking for an easy way to drill deep into the bedrock, the TooMuchTNT shows Minecraft players that you can never have too much TNT.
