Team Fortress 2 Dustbowl Map for Minecraft 1.7.5

Team Fortress 2 is one of the best team-based multiplayer games ever made. And out of all the Team Fortress 2 maps ever released, Dustbowl is arguably the most popular.

Dustbowl uses a classic Attack/Defend system with Red teams defending and Blue teams attacking. Dustbowl features perfectly balanced chokepoints where sometimes the attacking team breaks through, and in other cases, the defensive team wins. It’s a challenging map that requires teamwork on both sides in order to win.

Anyways, we have a Team Fortress 2 Dustbowl Map for Minecraft and it’s really good. It features an extraordinary level of detail that will be familiar to anyone who has ever played TF2 Dustbowl.

The map has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times and the map’s creators, Hypixel and SethBling, have created other maps which are equally as detailed and fun.

Calling Dustbowl for Minecraft just a “map” isn’t fair. Players can choose 8 different classes, each of which gives them different perks. On death, players respawn wearing full gear and they can even change classes mid-game.

Basically, this map attempts to recreate the Dustbowl map and Team Fortress 2 gameplay within Minecraft. And that’s awesome.

Here are all the features included in the Team Fortress 2 Dustbowl Map for Minecraft:

-Suggested team sizes include 6v6 and 12v12 gameplay

-Three stages, each with two control points

-Attackers (Blue Team) must capture control points in order, while Defenders (Red Team) must defend the control points until the clock runs out

-No mods or plugins required; all features are included within the map downloaded

-8 classes, all of which have their own perks

-Players instantly respawn wearing full gear

-Players can change classes mid-game

-Respawning health packs, free health/food at the spawn points

This map is surprisingly detailed and extremely authentic to the original Dustbowl Map in TF2. The main chokepoints and pathways have been faithfully recreated, but so have the far-off structures in the distance – structures that players can never access in-game. It just shows the amount of work that was required to create this amazing map.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve probably spent over 100 hours of my life defending various control points on Dustbowl. In my opinion, it’s one of the best multiplayer maps ever made. Thanks to this map, you can enjoy Dustbowl in all its TF2-blocky goodness.
