As you may or may not know, your Minecraft character is named Steve. Unfortunately, Steve doesn’t say much. In fact, Steve doesn’t talk it all, which means players who want to learn more about Steve will be sorely disappointed.
Thankfully, one member of the Minecraft community decided to give players the ability to chat with Steve. Although a talking Steve is not integrated into the Minecraft world (yet!), this tool can be run outside of Minecraft.
Using the Talking Steve mod is easy. Simply follow the installation instructions listed below, and then start typing in various commands. Steve will respond appropriately to each command, and his mood will even change based on the things that are said to him.
The Talking Steve mod isn’t a very deep tool, but it can be an entertaining distraction. The creator of the tool has also integrated custom skins into the mod, giving players the ability to talk to any character they like – from a Pigman to a Creeper.
