If you’re like most Minecraft players, then you die a lot in the game. Sometimes, death occurs because you fell off a cliff or ran out of food. But in most cases, death occurs because a creeper exploded directly in front of your face.
Fortunately for Minecraft players who die a lot, a new mod aims to commemorate each and every death that players experience. That mod is Subaraki’s Gravestone Mod. Every time players die, a grave will pop up at the site where that player died. That grave includes a small honor message as well as the player’s name.
Graves always appear – even if you died in lava or in the water. The grave will automatically be placed on the nearest available surface block. Players can also set their own grave models using an in-game GUI that can be accessed by pressing ‘M’. 9 total grave models are available, and players can even make their own decorative grave in the crafting window.
By default, graves spawn facing east. However, players can rotate graves by shift-clicking. Graves have 32 rotation stances in total, making it easy for players to face the grave in any direction their virtual heart desires.
Graveyard models include classic Christian symbols like a cross as well as more traditional models like a stele, bust, pillar, tomb, and wooden grave marker. There are enough grave models to satisfy most tastes and preferences, making this the Minecraft community’s best graveyard mod to date.
