StoryBlock Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.7.10

Ever believed that minecraft is your fairy tale game? Want to create your own fairy tale out of the game? Well this resource pack will make your epic quest complete.

Created by a talented artist under the username superklaro, StoryBlock is a heavy cartoonish resource pack that is created to give players the warm, cozy, and happy feel like out of a storybook.

Although similar resource packs have been done before, this resource pack features a nice balance between cartoon graphics and the vanilla shades.

This resource pack is highly detailed and thus it is only available at two resolutions: 64 x 64 and 128 x 128 which are both fairly high as compared to the vanilla textures.

Graphic-wise this cartoonish graphics reminds me cartoons such as adventure time with a zelda like feel into it. It also has a splash of an indie game making the texture both unique and lovely to look at.

Mobs look happy and jolly and the terrain looks as if it was drawn straight into a note book colored and computer-enhanced.

The more time I spent with the pack, the more I realize that the textures resembles the early days of the game scribblenaughts – making me feel all nostalgic.

All items, tools, and weapons have a beautiful well-drawn textures based upon a fantasy cartoon world made for kids.

If the resource pack is too cartoony for you, then you try adding a shader pack to unleash a mix of cartoon and realism on your desktop to further indulge you on a world that came alive from the books.

My favorite part of this resource pack is the golem with a light bulb as its head – this mob texture reminds me strongly of another indie game called Don’t Starve. Bonus points for the cool people villagers! – I hate those squid faced.
