Created bspkrs, StatusEffect HUD and ArmorStatus HUD are two simple yet very useful mod that displays your active status and armor status in your screen without the need of opening your inventory.
StatusEffect HUD mod
With the StatusEffect HUD mod installed, status icons, names, and duration will appear on your screen whenever you get a status effect. These icons can be configured through the text file provided.
Options include: hide or display status name, hide or display background box, re-position the status icons, and remove or keep the status icons in the inventory screen.
By using this mod you will save a lot of time – especially in multiplayer. In the heat of battle, knowing exactly your status can save you from sure peril.
ArmorStatus HUD mod
ArmorStatus HUD mod will display that status of your currently equipped armor along with how many uses it has left.
By using the provided configuration text file, you can change the display to your liking. You can use absolute armor value which will be displayed as armor value over max armor value.
Or you can also use a percentage display. %= armor value over max armor value times 100%.
ArmorStatus HUD mod does not only displays the current’s armors durability, they also accurately display the armor icon by its material (i.e. leather, chain, gold, iron, and diamond).
The mod can also display your currently equipped tool and weapon, as well as any remaining arrows you have left on your inventory!
You can also configure the HUD’s screen position, text value, hide or display item names, and so much more.
How to install StatusEffect HUD and ArmorStatus HUD Mods for Minecraft 1.7.10
Download and install Minecraft Forge mod loader
Download the latest versions of Bspkrs’ Mods.
Hold Windows key and press R to open the Run… dialog, or go to Start > Run.
Enter %appdata% and navigate to your .minecraft/mods folder.
Drag and drop the .zip file downloaded in step 2 into this folder.
