PseudoCraft – like most good texture packs – brings something totally unique to Minecraft. Pseudocraft features connected textures, custom coloring, and randomized mob textures.
This is a 32×32 texture pack, which means that it doesn’t provide a significant graphics boost over the original 16×16 Minecraft textures, nor does it clog up your PC’s performance.
Yes, if you have a less-than-average computer but still want to enjoy awesome looking Minecraft textures, then PseudoCraft might be the best option for you. PseudoCraft can actually make your game smoother, but at the very least, it’s guaranteed to make it more beautiful.
The goal of this texture pack is to combine high performance with a unique new take on Minecraft’s reality. The textures don’t necessarily look real-world realistic, but they do make the game look unique. Water is particularly memorizing, as it now features unique rectangular blocks the shift as the water moves.
Grass blocks are a darker shade of green and feature strange lines that look particularly good with OptiFine. You can expect to enjoy shadows, for example, behind each blade of grass along with plenty of other cool textures.
This texture pack originally featured a resolution of 16×16, which is the same resolution as vanilla Minecraft. However, the latest updates have pushed this texture pack up to 32×32 resolution, which may lead to minor performance problems on rigs that struggle to run vanilla Minecraft.
As with any texture packs, there are only so many things I can say. The best way to experience this texture pack is to install it yourself by following the instructions below.
