The PrinterBlock Mod is one of the most popular Minecraft mods available today. It’s also one of the most unique mods.
PrinterBlock lets you “paint” a grid of squares in-game. You can color this grid of squares with any different wool color. It’s ridiculously simple to use and everything can be accessed over an easy in-game GUI.
There are five commands you need to know in order to use the PrinterBlock mod.
-Print: Places your colored design into the world
-Clear: Clears the painting area
-Paint All: Paints the entire area with your chosen color
-Brush Size: Changes the brush size to color multiple blocks at once or just a single block
-Selectable Color: Choose your color from one of 16 different default colors.
When you first open PrinterBlock, you’ll see a 44×44 pixel painting area by default. Don’t be alarmed – you don’t have to fill every square in order to print your creation onto the world. Instead, you can just color in a few blocks and place those blocks into the world. If you color in three squares in an ‘L’ shape, for example, then you can place a simple L-shape design in your world.
The ultimate goal of this mod is to create amazing designs like the ones seen below and then place those designs into your world:
Not bad, right? PrinterBlock is truly an amazing mod and it gives players an easy and awesome way to add cool designs and artwork to their servers or singleplayer games.
PrinterBlock works in SSP, SMP, and LAN. All you need to install it is Minecraft Forge.
Pitman-87 is the official current author of the PrinterBlock Mod. However, he’ll be the first to tell you that most of the credit should go to the mod’s original creator, TeeLuk, who has no more time to update his mods anymore.
No matter who made it, PrinterBlock is a well-supported mod that adds a valuable new feature to the game. Try it out today!
