PiggyPilot Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

Most of us know the phrase ‘when pigs fly’. It’s a way of saying that something is totally unlikely to happen. In fact, that ‘something’ is about as likely as a pig growing wings and flying into the air.

Well, with the PiggyPilot Mod for Minecraft, pigs most certainly fly. This mod allows players to ride pigs on the ground and in the air. With this mod, pigs have grown wings and are now able to take flight. Well, at least some of the pigs have grown wings. There are now two types of pigs in the game: landlocked pigs and flying pigs.

Furthermore, there are actually two types of flying pigs. The way you fly each pig is different.

To fly a pig, simply approach a pig with wings. You can fly the first type of pig like this:

-Find a pig

-Throw a saddle on it

-Get a whip (your carrot on a stick) and jump on

-Point your carrot on a stick in the direction you want the pig to go and then click while holding the whip

-Hold on and the pig will fly wherever you need to go (provided you pointed up somewhere in the sky)

And you can fly the second kind of pig like this:

-Find the pig

-Saddle it

-Jump on

-Point the cursor in whichever direction you want to travel

You choose the type of pig you want in the mod’s config settings. If you’re running a server, then you’ll need to choose between type 1 and type 2. Obviously, type 2 pigs may unbalance the game because they don’t require you to have a carrot on a stick, but they’re much easier to control. So it’s up to you as the server admin to decide.

PiggyPilot adds more than just flying pigs to the game. Players can also drop TNT from their flying pigs or even mount machine guns (rapid fire arrow shooting machines) to the pig. To land your flying pig, simply point your whip (or cursor) at the ground and hop off when you get close enough.

Unfortunately for single player players, this is only a Minecraft Bukkit plugin at the moment, which means it’s a mod built exclusively for servers. But if you’re a server admin, you can install it today by following the instructions below. And if you’re a server member, you can pester your server admin until he or she adds this mod.
