PieCraft Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

PieCraft does exactly what you think it does: it adds the wide world of pies to your Minecraft world.

There are 16 different pies in total, all of which have different flavors. From a gameplay perspective, pies function just like cake. You can bite the pie 6  times and each bite recovers 1 hunger point.

There are, however, some unique pies that recover more than 1 hunger point. Here are some of the pies and their functions:

-Lime (Recovers 1 hunger point)

-Banana (Recovers 1 hunger point)

-Blueberry (Recovers 1 hunger point)

-Tomato (Recovers 1 hunger point)

-Cabbage (Recovers 1 hunger point)

-Strawberry (Recovers 1 hunger point)

-Taco (Recovers 1 hunger point)

-Magical Pie (launches players two blocks into the air)

Lime, Banana, and Blueberry pie materials can be found in various villages, strongholds, and dungeons inside chests. However, the creator of this mod – who is appropriately called NuclearBanana – plans to add fruit-bearing trees to the mod in future updates.

Other types of pies not mentioned above include beef, mushroom, fish, cookie, chicken, melon, and “flesh” pies.

Pie recipes are fairly basic. You start with a shapeless recipe using a single block of the food item which you’re trying to turn into a pie. Then, you smelt that item using the following recipe:

The Magical Pie is pretty cool because you can eat it to get to inaccessible areas or climb walls. But really, it’s going to be much easier to just throw some dirt blocks underneath you if you’re trying to climb somewhere.

Players can also plant their own fruit trees by finding Tomato, Cabbage, and Strawberry seeds inside tall grass. Just break apart the tall grass to find the seeds you need.

If you like pies and feel that pies are underrepresented in the Minecraft world, then you’ll love the PieCraft mod. Download and install it today using Minecraft Forge and start cooking!
