Necromancy is illegal in most civilized parts of the world. Fortunately, it’s not illegal in Minecraft. After installing The Necromancy Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5, you can practice raising the dead as much as you like.
The Necromancy Mod lets you create undead anomalies out of dead enemies. You simply craft an item called a Bone Needle using Bone Meal and then harvest blood from enemies using that tool. Next, you create a summoning altar and items like the blood scythe to complete recipes.
Recipes involve the use of enemy body parts. After killing an enemy you’ll be able to gather organs, flesh, bones, and other goodies that can be used to create your undead monstrosities. You can create a number of different types of undead monsters, and you can even ride some of your undead monsters and control them using a Brain on a Stick and a saddle.
The mod is well reviewed and your undead creations won’t unbalance the game too much. Most of the powerful undead monsters take a lot of materials in order to craft, so expect to spend a fair bit of time gathering blood and body parts from your enemies.
Once you’ve gathered the body parts you need, you use the Summoning Altar. The Summoning Altar contains two slots: one for blood and one for souls. Body parts are placed in the center and, if you’ve done everything correctly, your minion will spawn.
