Modern Warfare Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

Modern Warfare adds a range of modern weaponry into the Minecraft world. Instead of creating an original mod from scratch, the creator of the Modern Warfare Mod has taken elements from SDK’s mod and updated them to work with the latest instalments of Minecraft.

Since SDK’s mods have not been updated in several months, many people in the Minecraft community appreciate the work done by the modder, aidancbrady, to incorporate the sounds, textures, and items from SDK’s mod into the latest versions of Minecraft.

Instead of just re-coding mods that were originally created by SDK, aidancbrady has combined some of SDK’s most popular mods together. Specifically, Modern Warfare 1.6 includes the utility mod, gun mod, and the grappling hook mod. All of these mods have been stabilized to ensure they work perfectly together.

Along with the new modernized weapons, the Modern Warfare mod adds a CraftingPack feature that gives players a full 3×3 crafting screen in their inventory. Just press ‘C’ when using the inventory to access the CraftingPack.

This mod also adds a special type of armor to the game – ghillie armor. As some players might know, ghillie suits were designed by the military to make soldiers blend into any environment. In the Modern Warfare Mod, ghillie suits provide players with the camouflage they need to blend into any terrain, which helps them sneak up on players before using modern weaponry to take them out.

This mod isn’t overly detailed or feature-rich, but it’s not supposed to be. Instead, it’s meant to simply add some of the most popular features from the SDK mods into the latest updated version of Minecraft. If that’s an update you’ve been waiting for, then it’s easy to appreciate Modern Warfare 1.6. Download it today to add a range of new guns (and a grappling hook!) into your Minecraft world.
