MoarFood Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

Food is an important part of Minecraft. Without food, you die. In spite of that fact, vanilla Minecraft doesn’t give players a whole lot of different foods to choose from.

Players have demanded more foods, and that’s why the Moar Foods Mod was created. This mod adds dozens of new types of foods along with new seeds, seasonings, and potion effects.

The end result is a deeper food cooking system that allows players to fill their hunger bar in a number of different ways while also enjoying other beneficial effects – like healing after eating certain types of food.

In total, over 100 new foods have been added to the game through this mod. Here are just a few of the foods that have been added to Minecraft through the Moar Foods Mod:

-Strawberries

-Cabbages

-Tomatoes

-Double patty hamburger

-Caramel apple

-Hot milk

-Bowl of cheerios

-Cooked bacon

-Cooked dog meat (huh?)

To make your good meals even better, you can add seasoning. Seasoning can now be found deep underground in the form of salt shards and salt ore. Mine that ore and add it to your food recipes to make things like peppered dog meat, salted squid, and seasoned cooked fish.

Each recipe heals a different amount of health. Just like in real life, the double patty hamburger heals exactly 8 hunger bars, while all other meals range between 0.5 hunger bars and 9 hunger bars.

For what it’s worth, seasoned cooked pork and seasoned cook steak are both the highest rated menu items in the game with 9 hunger bars each. In general, food that has been seasoned and cooked is worth more than raw, unseasoned food.

If you’ve ever wanted to be a master chef in Minecraft, then this mod gives you that opportunity. Download it today to try out the Moar Food Mod for yourself.
