In multiplayer, signs are always fun. Leaving other players messages, naming towns and buildings, or marking mineshafts are just a few of their uses. It has always struck me as odd, however, that there is only one type of sign when so many other items have multiple types. Gory_Moon’s Moar Signs mod adds a plethora of new signs, many of which are made from materials from other mods.
Currently, new signs have no special functions other than looking awesome – but that is more than enough to make this mod worth the download. Signs can be crafted out of any type of wood or metal:
The mod also adds the function to turn any metal ingot (or diamonds) into nuggets, as shown above. A list of mods with compatible metals is as follows:
-
Biomes O’ Plenty
-
Forestry
-
Natura
-
Factorization
-
IndustrialCraft 2
-
Tinkers’ Construct
-
Thermal Expansion
When editing the text on a sign, two new options are available: font size and text offset:
This allows for much better readability and customization.
Gory_Moon plans on continuing development of this mod to include support for more mods, sign rotation, and possibly unique sign properties in the future.

These signs are awesome to begin with, but can you think of any other interesting additions to this mod? I think having more text options would be awesome (such as colored text) and maybe even variable sign sizes. If you have an idea to share, leave a comment!
