Minema Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

If you’ve ever tried recording Minecraft gameplay using an application like Fraps, then you may have been disappointed with the results. While Fraps is a powerful gaming recorder, it’s not perfect. And when using Fraps, many Minecraft players experience lag – even when their PC has no trouble running Minecraft.

Thanks to a mod called Minema, this problem is a thing of the past. Minema promises to help players film “jerk-free movies” in Minecraft, no matter how slow their PC may be or how complex the Minecraft scenery is.

Apparently, all Minema does is modify the game timer to ensure that a constant amount of time has passed between each frame, which means game time is no longer synchronized with actual time. The point of this modification is that slow computer performance will not result in choppy videos. Instead, all videos filmed will be perfectly smooth – even if Minecraft doesn’t look perfectly smooth during filming.

This means Minecraft players can film scenes that involve thousands of on-screen objects without worrying about video lag and other problems. Whether you’re creating massive nuclear explosions or spawning tens of thousands of creepers, anything can be filmed perfectly smoothly using this mod.

After installing Minema, players simply press F4 to start and stop any recordings. You can also capture a single video frame by pressing Ctrl+F4.

If you enjoy filming yourself playing Minecraft – or if you’re one of YouTube’s many Minecraft mod reviewers – then you need this mod. Download it today and never worry about poor computer performance affecting your Minecraft frame rates again!
