The Minecraft 1.6 update came out a few days ago and added, most notably, horses to the game. It didn’t take long for Mojang to find some holes in that patch, as it’s releasing the Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5 update just one week after.
The Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5 update was pre-released today, which means players can download the update in advance and manually install it. Those who choose to do that will enjoy changes like:
-Fixed horses starting to suffocate when touching walls
-Fixed animals escaping their pens
-Improved sprinting behavior
-On Mac, holding Ctrl while left-clicking now counts as a right-click
-Custom fonts look better
The full list of fixes can be found at the official Mojang blog, but those are the most important changes.
As usual, you can download the snapshot using the new launcher found at this link:
If, for whatever reason, you want to return to Minecraft 1.5.2, you can also do that simply by starting the old launcher and playing as you normally would.
