According to a recent tweet by Jens Bergensten, Minecraft 1.4.3 will be pre-released today, November 1. This pre-release build will include approximately 90 bug fixes.
These bug fixes were noticed by both developers and players after Minecraft 1.4.3 was released, so this update will – as usual – improve the Minecraft gaming experience as much as possible.
Like all pre-release builds, the Minecraft 1.4.3 update will be available to manually download and install. However, all Minecraft users should start receiving the update within the next few days via the game launcher.
A complete list of the bug fixes was published by Reddit user xPaw and can be found in this thread. Notable fixes include problems like:
-Mine cart sound doesn’t stop
-Slimecubes cannot be killed
-Zombies pick up items while they die
-Dragon eggs, sand, and gravel can be duplicated
-Open doors and levers not working properly with one another
-Named maps not retaining their title after being copied
-Plenty of graphical glitches, like fence gate textures flipping inside out and falling anvils not maintaining their orientation while falling
