Koi ponds are popular with hotels, restaurants, and the homes of rich people.
Most average Minecraft players, however, do not have a Koi pond in their house.
That’s why I like the Koi Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5, which gives players the ability to add a real, functioning Koi Pond to their game. The Koi Mod includes fish tanks, tiny tanks, and gardens, all of which replicate the authentic look of a Koi pond.
Although the mod is currently under construction, it was just recently updated to Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5. The first version of this mod was released way back in 2014, so the mod’s creator isn’t going away anytime soon.
Here’s how the Koi pond works:
-Koi will start appearing in freshwater around your map. Koi are friendly.
-Players can make pellets using two flowers or two mushrooms in a diagonal line, and then feed those pellets to the Koi until hearts appear. Tame koi will never leave their freshwater pool.
-You can kill your Koi (you monster!) to get koi eggs. You can also right click on eggs over water to create new Koi fish
-There are a number of different types of Koi based on real-world Koi species, including Moon Gold, Dragon Diamonds, Tancho Redstone, Chagoi Apples, Butterfly Iron, and more.
