Finding your horse in Minecraft can be a hassle. From time to time, your horse can wander off. Or, more likely, you got lost on some adventure or resource-mining expedition and forgot exactly where you put your horse.
These are problems that the Horse Locator Mod wants to solve. The Horse Locator Mod adds a new HUD/GUI to the game that tells you everything you need to know about the location of your horse.
That GUI explains whether or not the horse is tamed along with its current coordinates. Players can also see how far away the horse is from the player. You can use this mod to see the location of a horse you’ve already tamed or to look for nearby horses that are tamable.
The Horse Locator Mod works in an approximately 256-block radius, although that radius may be shorter if your render distance is not set to Far + 32 (which requires OptiFine).
To enable or disable this mod and get help finding your horse, simply tap the F11 button. If the mod displays some error message, then there are no horses to be found within a 256 block radius. Walk around some more before trying to find your horse again.
If you’re getting lonely without a horse in your Minecraft life, or if you’ve lost your trusted companion, then the Horse Locator Mod is an excellent way to find your horse again. Download this simple mod today to try it for yourself!
