Minecraft’s Glacia Mod adds a new dimension to your Minecraft world. Glacia – as you might have guessed – is a glacial dimension. It’s filled with new trees, flowers, mobs, and snow-related objects.
This well-polished mod gives players an entirely new world to explore. This world is absolutely beautiful and covered in more snow and ice than virtually any other mod out there today.
Here are a few of the new blocks added to the game through the Glacia Mod for Minecraft:
-Magic stone (lets you create the frame to the portal that takes you to Glacia)
-Glacial grass, glacial dirt, glacial wood, glacial leaves, glacial planks, glacial stone
-Crystal (new ore found in Glacia)
-Glacialwood stairs and glacialwood slab
-Ice (new ore found in Glacia)
-Glacialwood fence and glacialwood fence gate
-Crystal of power
In addition to the new blocks listed above, there are also new plants, items, and mobs. New plants include the glacial sapling, which will eventually grow into a glacial tree, as well as the ice flower and glacial berry plant.
There are also dozens of new items. You can craft armor pieces, tools, and weapons out of all of the following materials:
While exploring Glacia, expect to find a few new mobs along the way. Those new mobs include a snowy creature called the Glacial Seeker as well as a Penguin, a Saber-toothed Cat, a Glacial Turtle, a Reindeer, and a Polar Bear. Polar Bears are hostile towards players although the rest of the mobs are friendly.
As you can see, all of the items and mobs included in this mod have a distinctively glacial theme. This mob is 100% complete and fully updated to the latest version of Minecraft.
