GeoActivity Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

GeoActivity is a geology-based Minecraft mod that aims to make Minecraft’s underground ores and features more interesting.

The mod starts by adding four new coal types to the game, including:

-Anthracite Ore: Spawns on layers 18 to 38 in veins a maximum of 3 blocks and is more difficult to find.

-Bituminous Ore: Spawns on layers 34 to 48 in veins a maximum of 3 blocks and is not very hard to find.

-Lignite Ore: Spawns on layers 46 to 64 in veins a maximum size of 3 blocks and is relatively common.

Each of these ores spawns a new coal type “that is more powerful than the current type of coal.” You can use the Coal Refiner machine to refine coal into graphite, which is required for many recipes in the mod.

There are also a bunch of new tools which can be upgraded with Perks. Those perks include:

-Wider Radius

-Fortune

-No drop

-Auto-smelt

There are currently 10 perks available, all of which are designed to make using tools easier. You can add Perks to tools like the pick, shovel, sword, axe, and hoe.

There’s also a new chemistry system that comes complete with atoms and molecules. There are 19 elements in total added to the mod. Players can use these elements in the Chemistry Machine in order to craft different types of items. You can also extract elements from items using the Coal Refiner.

The GeoActivity Mod is compatibility with NotEnoughItems (NEI), so if you have that mod installed, you can instantly check out all the features and ores without actually finding or crafting them in your game world.
