Electrical Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

To say electricity is an important part of our lives would be a massive understatement. Electricity is what makes our world go round. For whatever reason, vanilla Minecraft doesn’t have an electricity system (although redstone comes close in some ways).

If you’ve been waiting for a Minecraft electricity mod, then I don’t know why. There are several mods that add electricity to Minecraft, and the Electrical Mod is one of them.

The Electrical Mod is a Minecraft mod created by TheMCModders. It adds 21 new items to the game as well as 2 new mobs and 3 new blocks.

Those new items include:

-An electrical toolset (shovel, pickaxe, axe, hoe, and sword)

-Electrical set of armor (chestplate, helmet, leggings, and boots)

-Granola energy bar and chocolate energy bar

-Granola and chocolate

-Electrical ore which automatically generates around the world

Why would you bother creating these electrical items? Because they’re significantly faster and more durable than vanilla Minecraft items. Electrical tools have the following stats:

-Efficiency rating of 8 (they work as fast as diamond tools)

-Durability rating of 1850 (300 uses more than diamond tools)

-Enchantability of 35

-4 hearts of damage against enemy mobs

-Harvest level of 3, which means it can mine obsidian and below

This mod doesn’t add an electricity system to Minecraft, per se. Instead, it adds electrical items that can be created with a new in-game electrical ore block. There are plenty of other mods which add electricity to Minecraft (or expand the redstone system). With the Electrical Mod, players get to experience something a little different.

You can download the Electrical Mod today and start using powerful electrical items/armor by following the instructions below.
