Modern technology has given the world some pretty great things – from computers to microwaveable meals. But as you’ve probably noticed, your Minecraft world isn’t reflective of the modern world. In Minecraft, you’re stuck with primitive technology as you fight against the elements.
That’s something that the E-Tools (Energy Tools) mod wants to change. The E-Tools mod adds new tools, weapons, and armor sets into your game. These items come with special abilities that burn off redstone power.
So far, the E-Tools mod includes the following items:
-A complete set of e-armor
You can guess what most of these items do from their names. The Tiller is used to automatically prepare soil for farming (it fertilizes a 3×3 area of dirt/grass), for example, and the chainsaw can cut down trees. The Energy Blade is used to chop your enemies in half, and the e-armor is there to protect you when you aren’t able to cut enemies in half right away.
These items will significantly reduce your workload in Minecraft. The Drill, for example, is used as a superpowered pickaxe that can instantly destroy a single block of any type of rock material. It can also destroy bedrock.
Meanwhile, the Energy Blade sets the ground on fire and, when you hit your enemies, it will also set them on fire. The Repeater is a bow that can instantly fire a fully charged arrow, and the Air Blaster is used to destroy a 3x3x3 cube of dirt, sand, or gravel at the expense of 2 redstone.
This mod is small but effective. It adds some extremely useful tools, weapons, and armor pieces to your game. The recipes are expensive, but once you’ve made the tools, you’ll understand why they’re so useful. Whether you’re farming, mining, or fighting off enemies, the E-Tools mod uses the power of redstone technology to make your life easier.
