Dokucraft Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

okucraft was first designed by a popular Minecraft modder named Doku. Unfortunately, Doku stopped upgrading the texture pack, which is when other modders started to take over. One modder, called HickeryDickery, decided to take matters into his own hands by compiling all of the existing Dokucraft texture packs together.

Today, a forum thread called Dokucraft, The Saga Continues keeps players updated on all the recent improvements to the Dokucraft texture pack. There are a number of installation files that players can download. These files feature all of Doku’s old work, as well as a number of new textures that were inspired by Doku and created by the Minecraft community.

In other words, today’s Dokucraft is a blend of the original textures created by Doku and the newer textures created by those in the community. It’s a community-driven texture pack that adds a number of new and exciting textures into the game.

Basically, Dokucraft adds medieval style textures into the game. The goal is to make Minecraft feel more like a medieval RPG, and the result is that Dokucraft adds hundreds of new texture files into the game that change the appearance of virtually every in-game texture.

Players can download a number of different types of Dokucraft texture packs. There’s the Dokucraft customizer, for example, that allows players to edit the textures and swap out any textures they don’t like. There are also versions called Dokucraft Light, Dokucraft High, MiniDoku, Dokucraft All, and several others.

The mod is compatible with a number of other popular mods, including Aether, Better Than Wolves, ClaySoldier, IndustrialCraft, Millenaire, and more. A full list of supported mods can be found here. There are 21 supported mods in total, but that number is growing with every version. Unfortunately, if a mod isn’t on the officially supported list, then it likely won’t be compatible with Dokucraft.

With an extensive list of textures for armor, art, characters, mobs, construction food, furnishings, GUI, icons, items, and more, Dokucraft is one of the largest Minecraft texture packs available today. If it isn’t the largest texture pack already, it might soon be the largest due to its strong community support and commitment to a quality user experience.
