A lot of kids play Minecraft. And like a lot of games designed (at least partially) for kids, Minecraft does not include realistic blood sounds or animations.
No matter how many times you get blown up by a creeper, you won’t see a drop of blood splatter on your screen. Obviously, that’s not realistic, because in real life, a creeper explosion would cause a lot of blood to appear everywhere.
Not having blood is just not good enough for some Minecraft gamers. If you want your video game combat to be bloody and realistic, then the Blood Plugin will help.
The Blood Plugin can be installed on multiplayer servers and will cause blood to appear whenever players are hit. It’s particularly good for PVP servers, but any multiplayer servers that include combat will benefit from this plugin.
In addition to blood appearing when hit, the Blood Plugin will create a blood sound. You know the sound made in movies when someone gets hit with a sharp object? Yeah, it kind of sounds like that. It gives a satisfying look and feel to all types of in-game combat.
The blood textures are unique and look like blood from early video games – like Playstation 1 and Nintendo 64 era. Instead of pouring out like a flowing liquid, the Blood Plugin causes blood to appear in the form of hundreds of miniature blocks. In any other game, this might look weird, but in the blocky world of Minecraft, it seems totally appropriate.
This plugin adds one simple feature to the game: blood. If you’ve always wanted a way to hear and see the effects of PVP combat, then the Blood Plugin is an excellent plugin to download today.
