AutoSwitch Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

Minecraft is filled with first world problems. Oh no. You’re mining through ore and using the wrong type of pickaxe for the job, so it degrades more quickly than usual. But you don’t want to take time out of your day to open your inventory and find the right pickaxe.

If this situation has ever happened to you, then you’ll appreciate the AutoSwitch mod for Minecraft. The AutoSwitch mod was made by popular Minecraft modder TheBombzen, who is responsible for some of the most practical mods available in the Minecraft community today (EnchantView, MobAura, WorldAndGenerationTweaks, etc.).

With the AutoSwitch mod, Minecraft will now automatically select the right tool or weapon for the task at hand. When you walk up to a piece of ore, this mod will automatically switch to the correct tool in your inventory for the task at hand. The same rule applies when you’re attacking a mob – the mod automatically selects the weapon in your inventory that is most appropriate for the enemy you’re attacking.

This mod is smart, too. It picks the fastest tool for the task at hand but it also chooses items/weapons based on their enchantments. So if a certain enchantment makes a tool better suited for a mob/block, then that’s the tool the mod will select.

No more button mashing. No more frantically searching through your inventory for the right tools. This mod makes life significantly easier for all Minecraft players. And if you think it’s making the game too easy, you can easily turn the mod off and on by pressing the F10 key.
