Aquaculture Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.4/1.7.5

Vanilla Minecraft doesn’t place a big emphasis on fishing. Yes, you can cook fish to make food, but no, it doesn’t play a major role in the core part of the game.

That’s why many gamers appreciate the popular Aquaculture Mod for Minecraft.

The Aquaculture Mod makes fishing way more important than ever before. It brings all sorts of new fishing-related features to the game, including:

-An iron fishing rod that you must craft in order to access any of the mod’s features

-Every biome has unique new fish that you’ll only find in that biome

-All fish drop random loot, and you can randomly catch all sorts of interesting things while fishing

-There are over 30 new fish in total and 12 new fishable items to loot

-The Aquaculture Mod attempts to be as realistic as possible; all fish are real species of fish and they have been placed in biomes where they might actually be found.

All sorts of different fish have been added to the game through the Aquaculture Mod, including Bluegill, Bass, Perch, Trout, Salmon, Halibut, and Tuna.

There are also unique other types of aquaculture to catch, such as the Shark, Whale, Flounder, Manta Ray, Piranha, Electric Eel, Turtle, and Dart Frog.

You generally won’t catch an exciting item while fishing. Sample loot items include seaweed, driftwood, leather boots, and bones. However, if you fish long enough, you’ll eventually catch rarer items, like:

-Message in a bottle

-Treasure Chest

-Goldfish which can be crafted into Gold Nuggets

-Neptune’s Bounty

The Aquaculture Mod is an excellent download for any Minecraft players who want to spend more time around water – and be rewarded for it. Whether you’re fishing in the desert biome or around the ocean, you’re going to find a lot more exciting mobs and objects after installing the Aquaculture Mod.
