Acid rain is an environmental phenomenon where highly-acidic water rains down from the sky due to pollution. It’s a real problem that occurs in polluted areas of the world and any areas where smog collects.
Thanks to the Acid Rain plugin, you can bring everybody’s hated weather phenomenon to your Minecraft server. The Acid Rain Plugin makes Minecraft’s rain system more annoying than ever before.
It’s designed to make server gameplay more intense. Acid rain periodically falls from the sky after installing this mod, poisoning the land and damaging everything it touches. Players will have to go underground or wear Leather Armor in order to protect themselves from damage.
Like all good server plugins, the Acid Rain plugin is completely configurable. Server administrators can:
-Configure the acidity of acid rain
-Configure the poisonous rain percentage
-Configure damage amounts and intervals for acid rain
-Configure messages to warn server players about current/incoming acid rain storms
-Configure the type of armor players must wear in order to protect themselves from acid rain. By default, this is set at Leather Armor.
-Configure acid rain to make it infect water and make all contacted bodies of water instantly poisonous
-Configure a permission for some people to bypass acid rain damage (people can donate to the server in exchange for avoiding acid rain damage, for example)
There are all sorts of configuration settings available with this plugin, and it’s all easily accessible from an in-game GUI. If you want to add an annoying but somewhat exciting weather feature to your Minecraft server and send players scurrying for cover, then the Acid Rain plugin is probably the best way to do that.
